Rottweiler boy Dave is looking for his forever home, Dave came back to us due to being very demanding at the time he had became food aggressive and was not listening to anything or anyone at the time, he was looking for a Alfa to help guide him behavioural wise as that’s what he lacked where he was residing at the time, due to it being a busy house hold and a new born baby which he reverted to the naughty stage craving to be the center of attention and his behavioural issues began. we took him back on to re train him he has been back with us for 8 months now and his behaviour has improved dramatically with consistent commands and routine. Dave has improved dramatically and is now very well behaved, he does have his mad energy bursts where he bounces around like a kangaroo but apart from that he’s very well behaved. Dave won’t suit a family house hold as the busy type environment would be too distracting for him he would suit a single person who could give him the set routine that he needs and attention he’s good with waking and sits at road crossings and is allways eager to please on walks we take him out generally when it’s quieter as he responds best this way he isn’t food aggressive any longer as he has been Crate trained to eat his food and associates that he only eats when in his crate/cage which is also his safe space when he goes to sleep cage door can be left open when sleeping but feeding we have allways whit the door he will leave his food alone untill he has sat and given paw and we allways praise him and tell him he’s a well behaved gentle man lol 😂 he responds well to commands and is good oriented like most other dogs are he has been tested in both indoors and outside kennel environments and he prefers to be out all day and in to sleep at night he’s well behaved with other dogs and plays well with sharing toys and so forth but he would suit it better in a environment where he was the only animal as he needs a strong but fair new Alfa to show him the way it runs in his new home he always looks for guidance and a leader to watch and follows he’s good with people and children but can get jealous easily so so how person or couple situation would suit him better he can be nervous and shy on his walks but is very good on the lead his old dog walker used to lost Facebook videos so examples of walking can be seen via this any questions just ask he has been neutered to help calm his temperament down he’s a lovely dog
