🚨 SOS: SILKY NEEDS A HOME BEFORE MONDAY 12th October 🚨 Silky has never had it easy: • Born behind the gates of a derelict communist-era bread factory in Romania, guarded by men the city paid to patrol it • The guards were unkind to the dogs, fed them scraps, and fought us every time we tried to get them sterilised • Silky had litter after litter. Thanks to one kind guard, we finally got her out, spayed her and returned her. We rescued many of her puppies, and most are now in loving UK homes • A few months ago the city stopped paying the guards and installed CCTV instead. The 10 to 12 dogs who had lived their whole lives behind those gates were thrown out onto the streets • They kept trying to get back in. Every gap they found was blocked • We got Silky out and brought her to the UK, but she's a jumper and has escaped her foster's garden, so it's no longer safe for her there On Monday she goes into kennels. For a free spirit like Silky, that would break her. She's very social and loves other dogs (no cats). She needs a secure garden with high fencing and space to be outdoors, which is where she's happiest. After everything she's survived, she deserves this. Please share, and if you can offer a home or foster place, message us today. 🙏 Silky is 6 years old and currently in Dorchester All for dogs come with full rescue backup. Home check will apply to new Foster Homes. Please go to our website for further information. https://www.fardogs.co.uk Adoption fee is £595
