My beautiful girl Spotach Pangio Kuhlii has recently had her first litter. The dad of the kittens is the stunning GrCh Thorsoak Njord-Baldrsson. The kittens are all healthy and friendly. The classic patterned girl, Ember, will be staying with me.
The mum of this litter is an F1 outcross with an Abyssinian dad, it is because of this I got rather a mix of patterns in this litter with one being a ticked tabby (like her mum).
This beautiful ticked tabby girl has been nicknamed Rainbow. She is a very adventurous girl, and was the first to start breaking out of the kitten pen before they were released into the whole of my bedroom. She is always up for a cuddle or play, and seems to have the most fun when something new and interesting is put in front of her.
The lovely spotted girl is nicknamed Honey. She is a very sweet girl, but still gets up to mischief with her siblings and cousins. Her aunties tail seems to be a favourite toy!!!
The handsome classic boy is nicknamed Cory. He is calmer than his sisters seeming to enjoy quieter cuddles than exploring, though he does of course join in with the play. He has a very loud purr and loves to snuggle up to people.
Ocicats are a lovely friendly breed with very few health issues. They have a very affectionate and active nature, often referred to as dogs in cats bodies. Most will follow their people around the house and can learn to play fetch or walk on a harness, all of my adult girls are harness trained and the kittens wear harnesses a few times before they leave.
All the kittens will be fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered before they leave. They have already been checked over by a vet and are all healthy, they are due to get their first vaccines on the 6th. Both mum and dad are tested clear of PRA and PKdef, which are the only 2 genetic health tests recommended to do on Ocicats by the GCCF.
