Description
This is my boy Ace. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. He’s grown into a big handsome lad. He’s as loyal as they come and every part of him is typical GSD.
He is currently 42kgs, he’s a typical GSD, not over the top and anxious type. He is house trained, lives with our other older small dog and we have 2 young children, one being a disabled 4yr old and is Ace’s best friend. We live very close to the sea and Ace loves nothing more than to swim(and dive for rocks) or to chase/carry sticks. He still has his testicles and can be a bit boisterous but settles pretty quick. I tried the 6 month temporary castration with him to see how it would affect him before committing. It worked great.
This is a very hard advert to write because it’s not something that’s been decided easily but it’s better for him that he is rehomed. I work in the emergency services and my partners son is disabled, combining them with life in general, works out unfair on Ace and he doesn’t get the work he deserves. As above, he’s very loyal and my personal opinion is he would be a phenomenal security/working dog, especially as he’s scared off someone who was creeping up our driveway. he is fearlessly loyal to my family, and very wary of anyone outside of our pack. But stays in kennels when we holiday annd is fine with them. (Noarck kennels can verify) However this has now turned my house into his castle, for which he is defender of the realm. He learns quickly ( will lay down, off lead from distance, does “middle”, runs and sits between your legs, he sits, paws and will stay/leave really well and maintain eye contact. All of which were taught by me or his trainer at puppy school. However he’s been a great family dog for us, I just think he deserves more. - As such I’ll be thoroughly vetting any applicants for him.
I’ve millions of videos of him with my kids, swimming and walking if needed.
The price is there because it has to be.
