Description
Meet Rainey 💕
Rainey is a gentle, affectionate girl who has come such a long way since arriving in foster care. She was incredibly nervous and anxious at first, and it has taken a little longer than usual for her to learn to trust. Thanks to the patience and kindness of her foster mum, she is making wonderful progress and growing in confidence every day.
Once she feels safe, Rainey’s playful side shines through. She absolutely loves racing around the garden, showing off her joyful zoomies, and it’s a delight to see her relax and have fun. She is very good with other dogs and even lives happily alongside a cat. In fact, she would really benefit from a home with another calm, confident dog to help her continue building her confidence.
Although Rainey is still a little wary of new people, she is becoming braver all the time and is improving nicely on the lead. She is also house-trained and has even mastered using the cat flap to let herself into the garden.
The best part of Rainey? Once you’ve earned her trust, she is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than snuggling up for cuddles with her favourite people.
Rainey is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. She will need adopters who appreciate that building trust takes time, but the reward will be a deeply loyal, loving companion who will repay your kindness many times over.
If you’re looking for a sweet soul who just needs someone to believe in her, Rainey could be the perfect addition to your family Rainy went into foster in Dorset on the 1st June
