Sadly I am looking for a retirement home for our beautiful pedigree female chocolate Ocicat Fleur. She has given the world wonderful babies that have gone to spread the love of this rare and delightful breed. She is 5 years old and has been neutered. Unfortunately since being neutered she has lost her status with the other girls and is very nervous but she loves being with us and is her old self when the others are not about. She has had to be separated from the other girls, though she still enjoys winding up our Labrador, but is constantly on edge in case she runs into one of the other kitties. This life is not fun for her and she deserves a loving home where she can settle slowly with lots of human contact but no other cats, she may later accept a kitten into her world. Ocicats are beautiful athletic and wild looking cats with a gentle, intelligent and playful temperament. They are often described as 'a dog in cat fur' they are fun, devoted and the perfect companion. Whilst some wild looking cats do indeed have wild genes the Ocicats does not. Ocicat genes are from long standing domesticated cats and so they combine to create a lovely, gentle and predictable disposition but with the spotted beauty of the big wild cats, and this makes the Ocicat a very sought after breed. Fleur is a loving, very human centred cat, kind and loves to play. Following her recent unhappiness she will be best suited to being a single cat to allow her to rebuild her confidence and to turn you into her perfect human slave. Ocicats need company and cannot be left from 9-5 every day so she needs a home where her humans are about most of the time. She is more of a sit next to you, rather than on you, kind of a girl (though she loves to sit on my husband). It will be heart breaking to let her go but she deserves to be comfortable as the centre of someone's world and she will reward you with love and loyalty. She is GCCF registered and is up to date with boosters and flea/worm treatments. She is an indoor cats but she does enjoy sitting in our secure garden to sun herself in summer. Rehoming fee will apply to ensure a good home. I am in East Anglia and I can deliver depending on distance. Please message me to discuss this delightful character who could soon be your perfect attentive companion (and boss).
