Boycie and Marlene are a truly bonded little couple who have spent their lives together and will be rehomed TOGETHER only. 💞
Boycie is an 8-year-old small Miniature Dachshund boy and Marlene is almost (November) 6-year-old small short-legged Jack Russell girl. Both are around 5-6 kg and have been with their family since they were puppies.
Sadly, their family can no longer manage four dogs and feel they cannot give them the life and attention they deserve. We are incredibly grateful to one of our amazing fosters who opened their home to Boycie and Marlene when they needed it. There is no longer any rush— this lovely little couple is waiting now for the RIGHT forever family. 🥹🐾

Boycie is a loving, loyal little Dachshund and, according to his family, a “100% attention seeker.” 😁💙
He wants to be involved in everything and loves being close to his people. He enjoys sniffing games, knows basic commands and is quite the chatterbox who loves telling you his stories.
He can be reactive towards other dogs on a lead and has prey drive towards small animals, so he needs sensible management outside. He can be left for short time and is not destructive.
His family perhaps describes him: Boycie gives you those puppy eyes because “he wants to be part of your soul.” 🥹💙
🐾 Meet Marlene
Marlene is the happy, clever little Jack Russell half of this partnership — always wagging her tail and living life to the MAX. ❤️
She loves people and children, enjoys saying hello to dogs on walks and is wonderfully inquisitive. She is extremely clever, loves puzzles, plays fetch and has very good recall.
Marlene needs plenty to keep that bright Terrier brain busy. She is comfortable being left when another dog is with her, but doesn't like being completely alone — luckily, she has Boycie. 💞
🏡 Ideal Home
We are looking for people who genuinely want TWO little companions and will enjoy having a funny, affectionate Dachshund-and-Terrier partnership as part of everyday life.
They need a secure private garden, enjoyable daily walks, sniffing and enrichment. Their new family should also be prepared to be working on Boycie's excitement/reactivity on walks.
Most importantly, Boycie and Marlene already have something very precious — EACH OTHER. ❤️💙 They sleep together, have grown up together and share a strong bond, so we will not separate them.
💞 One is a little chatterbox who wants to be part of your soul. The other is a clever, tail-wagging girl who wants to investigate everything. And give hundred of kisses.Together, they are quite a team. 😁🐾
Now they just need one family, one sofa and one FOREVER home.

Boycie and Marlene are neutered and both dogs are microchipped with no known medical conditions. Their vaccinations need updating and will be covered by rescue.
