Description
Meet Fenris, a black German Shepherd (long haired pedigree).
We have owned this lovely boy since he was a puppy (now 9 months old). He is well trained inside (sit, lie down, leave etc) and doing just fine on the lead. There are two reasons We are looking to rehome him:-
1: Because we have a large plot of land and the boundaries are porous, he is beginning to escape. As we live in a rural area surrounded by farm animals, we are concerned he might go after sheep as he matures due to his breed and prey drive.
2: Unfortunately he won’t tolerate cats and we have two!
To be clear I do not think he is an ‘escape artist’. It is just very easy to leave our land and wild/domestic animals give him a good reason to do so!
He has been excellent with our two young children and can be left in the house unattended. We know he would make somebody very happy and we just want to find him another loving home that’s more suitable for his type.
