Unfortunately, I am having to rehome my 6-month old Maine Coon. I have only had him for a couple of weeks, but sadly my two existing cats are struggling to accept him and I don’t feel it is fair on any of them to continue when they are not settling together. He is an extremely loving, affectionate and friendly boy. He loves attention and cuddles, enjoys being around people and is very vocal and full of personality. He is also friendly towards other cats; however, because he is already quite a big boy, smaller or more timid cats may initially find his size intimidating. As you would expect from a Maine Coon, he has a big appetite and a beautiful long coat that sheds quite a lot, so please be prepared for regular, ideally daily, grooming. He loves climbing and likes to make himself comfortable on chairs, sofas and sometimes the table! He is currently not neutered. He hasn’t had the best start, and having to move homes again after such a short time isn’t something I have decided lightly. For that reason, finding the right permanent home for him is much more important to me than rehoming him quickly. Please think carefully about the commitment before contacting me. I would prefer him to go to someone who has owned cats before and understands the time, care and responsibility involved in taking on a young, large, long haired cat. Serious enquiries only, please. I want his next home to be his forever home.
