Description

Mimi is 3 years old and in a foster home in Bristol. She is ready to find her family. Here’s what Mimi’s foster mum says about her: -In short, she’s an absolute pleasure to have around 😍 -Not a single toilet accident in the house, quiet in the house, happily lies in her bed, coming to you for a fuss before taking herself back to her bed -Mimi enjoys being outside regardless of the weather -Excellent on the lead and off the lead, staying by your side and coming straight back to you if she stops for a sniff, brilliant around the horses, other dogs and people -Once went to chase a cat but as soon as I said no she responded -Travels quietly and sits to wait for collar on and off, while food is put down, in and out of doors etc -Learned immediately to use ramp into back of my truck -Has been no problem to leave while working -Mimi is still learning her name but easy to get her attention -The resident dog and I have been trying to encourage her to play but she doesn’t really get it! -Quite likes being in the garden chewing a bone or just in her bed outside -I feel Mimi would like another dog unless adopter doesn’t work or is mostly around -The most obvious thing about Mimi is that she really does not want to lose her human and likes to be very close 😊 -She is a little pudding, loves her walks and would walk all day once fitter but feel she needs to be more confident you’re not going to leave her so she’s more comfortable running around more. Equally she would be happy to amble along as long as she does get her walks and outdoor time When Mimi first arrived at a shelter before finding a foster home, she was with her 2 very young puppies. She then took 13 orphan puppies as her own and reared them. This shows you what kind of soul this gorgeous girl is ❤️ Mimi is currently in a woman only household. So any adopter where there is a male resident in the family would need to have patience to earn her trust and a female resident for Mimi to feel safe and secure and reassured around men Full rescue back up (RBU) by Saving Souls Animal Rescue
