š° Bonded Pair of Male Rabbits Looking for Their Forever Home š°
Ā£150 ono including everything. The price is simply to help ensure they go to a genuine, committed home and to discourage people looking for free rabbits on impulse. If someone can show me they have experience with rabbits and can offer my boys the loving home they deserve, Iām more than happy to lower the price for the right person.
This is honestly one of the hardest posts Iāve ever had to write, but after a lot of thought Iāve decided itās in my boysā best interests to find them a new home.
They are two bonded brothers, around 7 months old, and I would really love for them to stay together. They are vaccinated but not yet neutered due to the cost.
As theyāve reached maturity, their hormones have started to kick in and theyāve had the occasional disagreement. They currently have a few small scabs (one has a couple around his bottom and they both have some on ears ones been split at the bottom from fighting). To help prevent things escalating, I separate them during the day and put them back together at night, where they settle well together. They will need neutering as soon as possible, so Iām looking for someone who understands rabbit behaviour and is happy to continue their care. If I keep them longer and save the funds I will be getting them fixed as soon as possible.
They are lovely boys with their own little personalities and donāt mind a cuddle when theyāre in the mood. Theyāre mostly litter trained as long as their hay and food are kept near/in their litter tray.
The reason for rehoming is purely because I no longer feel I can give them the quality of life they deserve. They were originally my daughterās rabbits, but sheās lost interest and theyāve really become mine. I had every intention of keeping them myself, and I never imagined Iād be looking for a new home for them. Iām absolutely gutted to be making this decision because I love them dearly, but with everything thatās been happening, I feel like theyāre no longer getting the life they deserve.
My 3-year-old has developmental and behavioural delays and, despite constantly supervising him and trying to teach him to be gentle, he repeatedly tries to grab the rabbits whenever theyāre out. He doesnāt yet understand that he can hurt or frighten them, so the only time I can safely let them have a proper run indoors is when heās asleep.
On top of that, weāve had a huge increase in foxes coming into our garden. Theyāre in the garden every night and have even started coming during the day, so I no longer feel itās safe to let the rabbits use their outdoor run like they used to. Every evening I have to bring them indoors into a temporary enclosure, but my little one constantly tries to get into it or pull it apart. Because of all of this, I canāt give them the freedom, exercise and peaceful environment they deserve, and I feel itās unfair to keep them in these circumstances.
They will come with:
š A 2-tier outdoor hutch (itās second-hand and has some chewing from previous use, but itās sturdy. Iāve also added extra locks to the doors because my son kept climbing into it.)
š Indoor enclosure (fully usable, although some of the original clips are missing, so some panels are secured with zip ties.)
š Bowls, hay, food and any accessories I have left at the time.
Iām looking for a loving, experienced home where theyāll continue to be well cared for. Their welfare means everything to me, and finding the right home is far more important than making money.

Please be kind. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and Iām only doing what I believe is best for them. If you think you can offer these lovely boys a safe, loving home, please send me a message. ā¤ļø
