With a very heavy heart, I am helping to find a forever home for a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier, born on 1st October 2020. Through no fault of his own, he has found himself needing a new home after his owner sadly lost his accommodation and was unable to keep him. I stepped in to help temporarily, but I live in a flat where dogs are not permitted, and keeping him could put my own home at risk. He is a loving, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people. He loves attention, cuddles, and will happily shower you with kisses. He has a wonderful nature with humans and gives so much love. He is not comfortable around unfamiliar dogs and is reactive towards them. Any introductions to other dogs would need to be done slowly and carefully by an experienced owner. He may be best suited as the only dog in the home, although we cannot rule out the possibility of him living with another compatible dog after careful introductions. He is microchipped and deserves a stable, loving home where he can finally settle and feel safe. Watching him go through this uncertainty is heartbreaking, because he is a beautiful dog with so much love to give. I would kindly ask people to please keep any unkind comments, judgement, or criticism to themselves. The situation itself is already very sad and overwhelming, and we are not looking for opinions or negativity. We are simply trying to do the right thing for him and find him the loving, safe, forever home he deserves. This is not his fault. He has been caught up in difficult circumstances, and all we want is for him to have a second chance with someone who will love him and care for him for the rest of his life.
