Full Advert Details

Arlo is a 12year old gelding ex-racehorse in re-training. He will hack happily all day on his own or in company, through the woods or on the road, isn’t fazed by anything. Has been in all sorts of traffic and takes it in his stride.
His schooling is coming along nicely but still struggling with canter on his right rein, will have a skip whilst getting on the right leg but other than that he’s fine. He’s still fresh as he hasn’t been properly re-schooled since coming off the track, but he’s not strong or silly, just gets excited because he’s eager to do a job.
I’ve not long had a baby so don’t have the time to jungle him with work and the little one. He would definitely be an ideal happy hacker if someone wasn’t too interested in more than that. If someone with time and patience came to look at him, they’d see the potential that I do in him.
Good to; load, travel, farrier, vet, dentist etc.
Contact for more pictures and video, I’m open to offers as home more important as I just want the best for him.

Horse Buying Checklist

Before contacting or visiting the advertiser for this Ex Race. Please make sure you have printed and read this checklist fully. Do NOT buy a horse from the advertiser unless you are happy that they follow all the advice on the list.

  • Do your research first
Getting a new horse is a massive commitment, so make sure you have researched the breed fully and have the time and commitment necessary to care for the horse. You can read our detailed Information guide about horses for potential new horse owners.
  • Confirm that the advertiser is genuine
You should verify this by arranging to visit the horse at the advertisers stable, if they make excuses or try to ask for money or a deposit without seeing the horse, or if the advertiser attempts to deliver the horse or meet you at any other location than their own home, then please do not agree to this. NEVER send money online for any horse. Please read our article on avoiding potential scams.
If you are unsure that the advertiser is genuine, please report them to us.
  • Is the horse over 6 months of age?
