Red Miniature Poodle available for stud. Merlot is our very loving & clever family pet. His excellent DNA health testing, lovable temperament, size and stunning looks make him the ideal sire for Poodle and Poodle mix litters. He's 12inches in height and weighs 6kg which is a great size for both Poodle and smaller cross litters. He is a lively little one, lives to play and is a regular at obedience classes, holds his first 2 KC Good Citizen awards, is an excellent agility dog and loves to swim, chase a ball or play squeak with his toys. He has been used as a model at national grooming competitions due to his easy going disposition and loves people and other dogs. Merlot has a set of clear DNA health tests as detailed below, guaranteeing none of his offspring will be affected by any of theses devastating diseases. Progressive Retinal Atrophy (prcd-PRA) – CLEAR Progressive Retinal Atrophy (rcd4-PRA LOPRA) – CLEAR Von Willebrands Disease Type 1 (vWD-1) – CLEAR Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) – CLEAR Familial Nephropathy (FN) – CLEAR Gangliosidosis (GM2)- CLEAR Osteochondrodysplasia (OCD) -CLEAR BVA hip score 12 (6/6) He also holds a BVA eye test and is KC registered & vaccinated to date. He is a very gentle boy and respects the girls that visit. He will happily meet your girl for two mating’s, arranged two days apart. His stud fee is payable on your first visit after a successful mating, when you will be given copies of his KC Pedigree, all DNA health certificates and photos of him to show your new puppy owners. Merlot carries red and tan point and has Zoflora and Montravia lines.
