Rehoming my two cockatiels along with their full setup which is their cage, stands, perches, toys, feeders, all included. They've been so well cared for and we had them for 2 and a half years but with a little one, work, 2 cats, a house move and just life, they're just not getting the time and attention they deserve anymore sadly. I would like them to go somewhere they'll get more attention, more time to fly more freely and for someone to spend the quality one on one time with them. Its hard to navigate sometimes with a little one, cats out the house, birds out the cage, then one cat wants to come in, and only carmen goes back in the cage and not hector or vice versa and then if i have to go out put the birds back in, cats back in etc which means they dont get much fly time or one to one with me anymore.
We have one boy - Hector boom Selecter and one girl - Carmen con flores. Carmen is spicy but sweet and and Hector is loving and rambunctious, they absolutely love spinach. They are on a 80% pellet complete food diet of either the brands Harrisons super fine size or Roudybush crumble size and 10% seeds. The last 10% they get is fruit and veg everyday and I'm happy to go through their likes and dislikes. For example they LOVE spinach and lettuce and hate strawberries and apples. Hector loves spritz baths almost daily and Carmen loves shallow water bowl baths, although sometimes she will join the spray bath with Hector. We spent equal amounts of time with them but Carmen has still taken a while to trust us. Hector on the other hand, if you have sunflower seeds you are best friends. They absolutely loves Spanish music (its all they hear lol) especially bachata or jo arroyo and they sing to their favourite songs which I can provide you with it makes them happy and sing joyfully. They love being outside too, the cage has wheels and they spend time in the garden.
Please I'd like to kindly request that no one ask to split them, I would love for them to go together. I'm not looking to profit from this I just want the cost back for the birds and the cage.
