Description
Snow and Micky are looking for a new home together due to very sad but unavoidable changes in their owner’s circumstances. Their owner cares deeply for them, but ongoing health issues alongside severe allergies within the family mean they are no longer able to give Snow and Micky the time and environment they need. This has been a very difficult decision, made with their wellbeing very much in mind.
Snow (female) and Micky (male) are a bonded pair and must be rehomed together. Both are around 2 years old, neutered, microchipped and litter trained. They have been well cared for and are used to living as indoor/outdoor cats.
They are friendly, gentle cats who enjoy companionship, but can be a little shy at first and may hide when meeting new people. They would be best suited to a relatively calm home environment, ideally without very young or noisy children, where they can settle at their own pace and feel secure.
Snow and Micky are clearly very loved and this decision has not been taken lightly. They are simply looking for a stable, caring home where they can continue their lives together and receive the time and attention they deserve.

To reserve a cat or kitten we ask for non-refundable £50 deposit per individual. The rest is paid on collection. Again, Pets4Homes does not allow me to make this clear when posting the ads.

Rescues are full and waiting lists are long, so I foster the poppets with nowhere else to go - sadly there are many of them.
I have built a network of wonderful people that I communicate with and work with to enable me to find, rescue, foster, rehabilitate, treat and ultimately rehome as many as I can. It’s a full time ‘job’ but I make no profit financially - although it definitely benefits me spiritually to do this.
I believe that every cat deserves to be loved and to feel safe. And while I can’t help them all, I do as much as I can. In order for this to work, I use my own finances, every penny of adoption fees and also kind donations to cover my costs of caring for current residents and whoever comes next (this includes providing the necessary food, litter, toys, vets bills for spaying, neutering, MoTs and medication etc - overwhelmingly high and never ending). Or to contribute to the costs of the people caring for the cats I don’t have capacity for.
I ask for a small non refundable deposit (per cat) and the rest is paid on collection. I consider adoption offers very carefully. It’s so important to me that my fosters go to safe, loving and permanent homes so I have certain questions to ask, and although I don’t feel the need to do actual home checks, I ask for a short video that shows where the cat will be going. I need to be sure that I have found them a loving, safe and permanent future or I’m failing them.

We adopted a rescued kitten that Rebecca was fostering a few months ago, who had been found with her mum and the rest of the litter. However, you wouldn’t have guessed she had this rough start in life - Rebecca took the whole litter and their mum in and gave them the patient, loving home they needed to be ready for their forever home (as she does with any foster in her care!). She nurtured them to become healthy, confident and happy kittens and our little girl is absolutely wonderful. Our experience with Rebecca was amazing - she was super communicative, sending photos and videos of our kitten every day so we could see her growing up, and it always felt like she was doing the best she could by all the animals in her care. She’s a star!!
