Please read the full advert!! Miniature Chocolate & Tan Dachshund entire male. 4 years old looking for a new permanent home. We bought Oliver around 7 months ago from a lady who said she couldn’t cope with him & her 2 females, in bringing him home it was evident he didn’t know how to play with other dogs or toys, this has led to him being reactive when they are playing ( he thinks they are hurting each other). He is also guard reactive with toys & food only with dogs not humans, these are the reasons we are looking for a new home, preferably as an only dog, & with someone who is at home most of the time, as he will bark & cry when left on his own, he is very loving & loyal with his owner, follows you everywhere & loves sitting on the sofa with you for cuddles. Just recently he has had back issues, the vet said it was an inflamed disc & he was treated with an anti inflammatory drug , this has worked, but it could recur. This needs baring in mind. The vet can write a prescription which costs £20 & the medication ranges from £4-£25. On line & will last a long time. He just needs a calm loving home permanent home with lots of love. This is a heartbreaking decision , but for the calm to reset with our other dogs & a calm & quiet life for Oliver, it’s the only sensible thing to do.
