We are offering a pair of registered alpacas looking for a new, suitable herd home:
• 1 Appaloosa female
• 1 Harlequin female
• BAS registered – full paperwork available and up to date
Both girls were born at Alpaca Acres and have been raised with consistent, gentle handling and excellent daily care.
They are both open and ready to breed, and would suit an established herd or someone developing a small, well-managed group.
They are fully up to date with routine husbandry and vaccinations, including Bluetongue vaccination.
They are currently being halter trained, and this positive training can be continued in their new home to help build trust and handling confidence.
They are very friendly in nature and will come up to feed from people, including visitors on the farm.
These are well-balanced alpacas with lovely colouring and patterning. They would be especially suited to someone looking to introduce unique colour genetics into their herd, while ensuring they go to a safe and appropriate environment.
Welfare information:
Alpacas are highly social herd animals and must live in groups of three or more for their wellbeing. They may be sold individually or as a pair, however there must already be an existing herd in place.
We also offer a reduced-rate basic alpaca care course for new owners, providing gentle, practical guidance for anyone starting their alpaca journey.
