Description

Big boy Airedale wannabe ‘Stanley’ currently homeless and in desperate need of a home in order to save him. A little dog in a bigger body 6-7yr old Stan is looking for his soul mate. Imagine being nothing to no one for as long as you’ve breathed? To be considered worthless, nameless, faceless & irrelevant makes for a very lonely existence. Stanley has never stopped wanting to belong, to be known, to be loved & to be celebrated for all he can be. I envision him on a beach and his lovely lump outstretched on a carpet. Marshmallow Stanley was abandoned at some point by a callous ‘human’ & he has wondered the ‘universe’ metaphorically searching for a taker, even his abuser, until he finally lost hope. Resigned to his lot not realising how precious he is he turns up at an orangey from time to time and wonders the town hungry. The workers at the site where other dogs are sometimes give food but there is no space at the Inn. We are trying to get him safe and if you can open your heart & home to this lovable gentle lad we could find a temporary space knowing that he’d be joining you soon. We will keep you updated if anything changes but this is an urgent appeal in real time so we can save Stan. He’s a passive gent with a majestic aura and hasn’t bothered the cats, dogs, or anyone else as he ambles about with the world seemingly blind to his plight. We aren’t and ask for your help. We just need an adoption. ‘Ambling & sedate’ adoptions. Big & energetic? No. Big dogs don’t drag you through life. Dispel the misconceptions & adopt a larger marshmallow dog today. Size is more than a measurement. At 30kg Stan saunters about like he’s a feather. He’s light on his feet. He isn’t boisterous. The presence of a dog can be smaller than they are and little animals can sometimes fill a room. Diminutive pooches live in bigger bodies and giant dogs can reside in small frames. Don’t dismiss the docile larger boys & girls who are less maintenance and trouble than their chihuahuas counterparts sometimes. Bio coming soon. We have little time as new rescues coming in everyday (& rehoming) so just want to get the dogs seen. Please feel free to enquire and adopt prior to the finished article as it were as we are more than happy to discuss all that you need to know during your initial call.
