Description
Skye is seeking a new forever home. As her original breeder i took her in when her home didn't work out due to sharing with another dog.
She is a very happy, energetic ball mad border collie. Loves her food and treats. Loves to go for long hikes and to the beach. Plays with a football really well, throwing it herself into the air and expertly chases it.
Always happy to see us, loves to lick and show love. Can be slightly worried initially with strangers.
Will travel ok but drools and goes quiet.
Negative bits are she does not like other dogs, especially girl dogs, so MUST have a home on her own. This seems to be mainly jealousy.
Jumps up. Pulls on lead at first.
Recall is not great due to overexcitement and wanting to stay out in the garden. Easily sorted with routine and a long lead.
Skye is very intelligent and likes to push boundaries but she has responded very well to routine.
Skye needs a forever home with patience, love and people willing to train her and mentally stimulate her.
She is a very likeable girl with her non stop enthusiasm for life.

We live almost 10 hours away so couldn't view our pup before collection but we had regular updates and videos from Sandra.
On collection day we got to meet the mum and dad and got to see their lovely calm nature.
Sandra was a lovely lady who gave us some great tips on feeding and settling in our puppy along with a bag of food and a smell blanket.
