Price: boys £2500, girls £2800, a deposit of £500 will be required to secure your pup
Please note: we are not a kennel, we are a private household. We both work from home and our dogs have the best lives, they are family not livestock. After the success of the first litter two years ago (photos of which can be found in the gallery) we decided to give our beloved Lotti the opportunity to become a mum for the second and last time.
ABOUT THE DAM:
Lotti is a 6-years-old, Kennel Club registered golden retriever with impeccable record and personality. She’s of a slender build (25 kg), her coat was of cream colour for the first two years of her life but has been turning more golden recently. She is the picture of health and the perfect representative of her breed. She’s been on good quality dog food from day one and hasn’t needed medical assistance in her entire life. Both of Lotti’s parents have been health tested, hip scored etc… Their screening records are available to view on Kennel Club’s website. Lotti has several champion lines in her pedigree. Lotti has been extensively DNA tested (paperwork to be provided as part of the puppy pack), her results include:

Lotti adores people, she has a personality of a therapy dog and we believe she would thrive in that line of work (something we might one day explore). She gets on with everyone including her two spaniel sisters, she loves water (unless it’s a bath!) her favourite activity is swimming in the local lake, roaming free in the woods and chasing after squirrels. And, last but not least, Lotti loves to snuggle up next to her favourite human. She seems to have endless patience with her canine sisters (who are significantly naughtier than she is!). Lotti doesn’t bark, drool or mouth toys (unlike many other golden retrievers),however she doesn’t like travelling and can only do so on the empty stomach (something we learned the hard way).
Thanks to her ‘eager to please’ personality and true to breed appetite, Lotti has been extremely easy to train and we are immensely enjoying working with her. Paired with her beautiful looks, this has led to her starring in several advertising campaigns for various dog brands - we are so proud of her!
ABOUT THE SIRE:
Shadow is a KC registered, professional stud who we chose due to his stunning looks and great health record. More importantly, the Inbreeding Coefficient for this pair is 0.7 which is extremely low (breed average being 7.4%). To those unfamiliar: the lower COi, the lower the risk of puppies having health issues. Shadow’s screening schemes include hip and elbow scoring: BVA/KC Hip Dysplasia Left score: 5 Right score: 6 Total score: 11. BVA/KC Elbow Dysplasia Left score: 0 Right score: 0 Total score: 0 and his pedigree includes 35 generations (8 of which are complete).
THE PUPPIES:
No expense is being spared in giving these pups the best possible start in life. You can follow their journey on Instagram where I’ve been posting daily update videos from Lotti’s due date onwards (you will be invited to join once the deposit has been paid).
Pups will be reared in our open plan living room amongst everyday smells and sounds, they will play in an enclosure in our garden as soon as they can regulate their body temperature (4 weeks onwards). They’re being handled daily and as they grow we will socialise them, begin their toilet training and provide relevant stimulation aiding their development. They will receive their first vaccinations at 8 weeks, will be wormed at 2,4 and 6 weeks, and of course health checked by our vet before they leave to their new homes. Puppy pack will include:
-vaccination card
-KC registration paperwork
-microchip info
-both parents DNA testing results
-puppy contract
-a toy with mums scent
-a bag of food
If you are interested in giving one of these furballs a home please get in touch with the information about you and your living arrangements (i.e. where you’re living at the moment, whether you’re close to dog walking areas, if you own/rent your home), employment and family situation, as well as letting us know whether you’ve had any experience of dog ownership.
We are *extremely* committed to finding the most deserving families for Lotti’s puppies and want to ensure a positive experience for all involved. As a way of introduction we will require a Face Time to get to know potential future owners. Around mid to end of April we’ll host a ‘pick your puppy’ open day when you’ll be welcome to visit in person for coffee, cake and of course puppy cuddles. Puppies will be vaccinated on Thursday the 7th of May and ready to go home the next day onwards. Delayed pick up will incur a daily boarding charge of £30.
