Description

Rocky is a 5 year old male staffie. Very friendly with humans of different ages just very boisterous like a big kid himself, has been around children multiple times but doesn’t live with any. Rocky is a massive love bug and enjoys his cuddles on the sofa and loves being next to you. He loves chewing up his toys and loves toys that squeak. He knows lots of tricks like sit , lay down, touch, twist, peekaboo and will also wait when a treat is placed in front of him and will wait for command before having the treat. I have been working on loose lead walking and knows different commands on walks such as heel, leave it, this way as well as the usual sit and stay, Rocky can also do this off lead when on his own on walks. Rocky is very temperamental when it comes to dogs. He has been around family dogs with no problems however can become reactive towards other dogs on walks more out of rear than aggression. Rocky has also been to training sessions with a professional dog trainer amongst other dogs in the sessions and also will do parts of the session off leash with close eye from owners. We also use an E-color when on walks due to his fear towards other dogs. Needs rehoming due to owners own fear as she’s an elderly lady who no longer has the strength for Rocky on walks and feels he deserves an owner who can give him the time and attention on those walks. Need him to go to a loving home who has the time and patience for him as he’s a loving dog who just needs that love and needs a cuddle buddy. Have previously used a muzzle and have now gone back to muzzle training to ensure safety on walks due to his fear of dogs on walks and also to the vets. He was crate trained as a puppy but no longer uses the crate as he sleeps downstairs on the sofas as he loves to chew his bed up. Is used to being an only dog and has never had another dog/pet stay in his home. Rocky favourite treat is sprats and gravy bones he also loves his lick mats for the summer. Rocky is on a raw food diet mixed with raw/frozen reg and loves his occasional treat of a boiled egg or raw egg with his food! He loves spending lots of time in the garden and loves going on different adventures for walks. Rocky has also been neutered/spayed when he younger (around the age of 2) he is also regularly treated for warms and fleas and very up to date on health checks and weight checks. Rocky will bark when he hears the door go but will settle and welcome people in with a fuss. Above all Rocky is an amazing loving dog who needs someone ready to give him all the love. Will come with lots of toys / treats / blankets and whatever is dog related or his will also go with him.
