Stanley is a sweet, affectionate puppy who is currently settling into foster care and looking for a family who can give him the stability and training he deserves.
Despite his young age, Stanley has already experienced several home changes through no fault of his own. He was originally purchased from a breeder and later rehomed when his previous family realised they did not have the right setup for a large, energetic breed mix.
Stanley is a very people orientated puppy! 🐾
He LOVES being close to humans and will happily follow you around the house before climbing onto your lap for cuddles (even though he hasn’t quite realised how big he is yet!). He is a very soppy boy who loves giving kisses and leaning into you for affection.
He is also a bright and confident puppy who enjoys learning and exploring new things. Stanley already knows basic commands such as sit and paw, and he is very food motivated which makes training enjoyable and rewarding. Like many Husky mixes he can have a slightly stubborn side, but he responds well to positive training and consistency.
Stanley walks nicely on the lead and generally has lovely lead manners. He may pull slightly when he gets excited, but this is typical puppy behaviour and he is already improving with guidance.
He loves other dogs and gains confidence from them, but he is very submissive in first interactions and will cry to avoid any trouble. Despite being a large puppy, he behaves as though he is much smaller and will happily follow other dogs around the garden and learn from them 🥺
As with any puppy, Stanley still has some puppy behaviours including mouthing and jumping while he learns boundaries. We are working on this with him and he is responding well to structure and guidance.
Stanley is house trained, crate trained, and enjoys having access to a garden where he can play, explore, and burn off some puppy energy.

🏡 Home Needed
Stanley would be best suited to an active home that understands the needs of large working breed mixes such as German Shepherds and Huskies.
Because of his breed mix and training needs, we are looking for adopters who have previous experience owning similar working breeds or high energy dogs. He would not be suitable for first time dog owners.
His new family should be committed to continuing his training and providing plenty of mental stimulation, exercise, and companionship as he grows.
A home with a secure garden would be ideal. Stanley could live with another friendly dog but would also do well as an only dog with owners who have the time and experience to dedicate to him.
📖 His Story
Stanley sadly experienced multiple homes early in life when previous owners realised they did not have the right environment for his breed mix. He is now safely in foster care with us where he is receiving the structure, training and stability he needs.
Stanley is a loving, funny and affectionate puppy with a huge amount of potential. He simply needs the right family who will commit to him for life!
