Description
Ollie's owners moved back to Asia and couldn't take him with them. I can't keep him because I need to travel also. Need to find him a suitable home asap.
Ollie is a very intelligent dog who loves daily walks and loves playing and fetching his ball. He loves a hug in the morning and is extremely food motivated so easy to train. He has good basic recall in English (Sit, go, down, come, no), Spanish (Senta, Tango) and possibly Malaysian!
He is toilet trained to go outside on the grass.
He is a Tan Miniature Poodle from Malaysia. He is INTACT (UNNEUTERED)
He is vaccinations and flea treatments are up to date.
He also has a Rabies Vaccination.
He is Microchipped,
He is a loving and loyal dog who just wants to be near and take care of his loved ones. He will be cautious at first but once he get used to you and trust you he is fun to be around. Once he sees you as his person he will become very protective of you.
AREA OF DEVELOPMENT -
He came to me with some anxiety but settled in to a regular routine relatively easily. Apparently there was some trauma in his past but I'm not sure the exact details.
He guards his food and can be anxious around new or noisy surroundings showing aggression when nervous. He has bitten someone in the past.
He would suit someone who has experience with the breed or experience in handling trauma dogs.
If you want him, you need to be patient with him and be willing to dedicate time to his ongoing training.
Poodles are a very intelligent and active 'working' dog breed who need lots of daily exercise at least an hour a day (or x30 mins walks per day)
