Description

We are looking for the right home for our lovely young Border Collie. We bought him at 9 weeks old in October 2025, with the intention of training him as a working sheepdog. However, as he has grown up, he simply hasn’t shown much interest in working sheep and it has become clear that the working life isn’t really for him! What he does love is people. He would much rather be getting fuss, attention and cuddles than working sheep, so we feel he would be much better suited to life as a much-loved pet or companion. He lived in our house for the first 2 months and later lived outdoors in a kennel so a new owner would need to understand that he hasn’t been raised as a house dog and may need some patience while he adjusts to living indoors, house training and a different routine. This is a genuine attempt to find him a home that suits his personality better. The right home is much more important to us than simply finding him a home quickly.
