Description
Betty - 12.2hh Dartmoor pony
• 7 years old, Dark Bay Mare
• Dartmoor type (unrecorded breeding)
Betty has High Potential at in hand showing and ridden competitions with the right home that has the time to dedicate to advancing her education. She has always been better to be ridden often as time off can make her abit fresh
Betty is looking for a job and is ready to work. She's been ridden both on and off the lead rein. However, she prefers to be in control so is not keen on leadrein and is being sold as a 2nd pony because she can at times be cheeky and test her rider (as ponies do). She's forward-going but has brakes due to her being Green and needing to further her education, this is reflected in the price. making her perfect for a confident child/ small adult ready to progress and put your own stamp on.
Achievements (previous home)
• Completed unaffiliated dressage and came 2nd at her first outing.
• Enjoys fun rides and loves to jump.
• Up to date with vaccinations and worming.
Quirks
• Can be a bit shy with male farriers until she gains trust, but she's always been barefoot.
She is only for sale due to not having a job for her, it seems such a waste and a shame to keep her with us when she could be out working with another little jockey.
Happy to answer any questions and won’t be going to just anyone as she is such a lovely pony and deserves a 5 ⭐️ home to continue her education.
Just had a brand new GFS Monarch GP saddle fitted which can be included at extra cost.
Price isn’t completely fixed as the home is more
important.
