Description
Cavajacks (or Jackaliers) are a popular mixed-breed dog, crossing a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a Jack Russell Terrier
They are small, energetic, and affectionate, blending the gentle nature of a Cavalier with the spunky, intelligent personality of a Jack Russell.
We aim to combine the longevity of the hardy Jack Russell with the calm, gentle & regal Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
We are certain these will grow into one of a kind family companions
We know how important it is to send a well-balanced puppy to their new home, that is why we choose to follow the Puppy Culture Program.
During the 8 weeks our puppies are with us our training focuses on the following:
- Early Neurological Stimulation
- Regular handing by children
- Establishing toilet training
- Encouraging eye contact
- Age-appropriate games and exercises
- Working through fear periods
- Providing an enriching environment
- Puzzles and problem solving
- Early socialization
- Emotional resilience exercises
- Sound proofing
- Crate training
- Establishing Recall
According to current research, environmental factors are thought to contribute to around 60-80% of the variability in hip dysplasia development, meaning that while genetics play a significant role, environmental factors such as traction in the whelping pen whilst nursing, can significantly influence the likelihood of developing hip dysplasia.
We make sure that there is always enough traction provided to avoid over extension of the joint and tissues during the crucial first weeks of development
We are really looking forward to helping these puppies reach their full potential as steady & reliable family companions

Mum is Scruff - our beautiful JRT girl with a heart of gold. She is incredibly loyal, fit & active. She joined us last year on a horse trek along the South Downs way where she ran/rode 100 miles & camped along the way
This is her second litter and she is a doting mother
Dad is Prince - imported by ourselves from Hungary where he was born the son of two international show champions. Prince is very affectionate & loves nothing more than a cuddle on a lap
Prince is health tested and clear of genetic disease associated with CKCS
