Description

Meet Rufus. He is a (nearly) two-year-old, affectionate Border Collie. He loves to play, to cuddle and to eat. Football (herding games) are his favourite thing but he also needs cuddles and affection. Devastating my situation has changed and I'm looking for a really good home for Rufus. He could live with a family (or not) and has lived with other dogs (though it'd take time to introduce them). He ideally needs places to go on walks that are open/isolated. He likes to run and has walked a few mountains but he is easy to exercise on a daily basis via football games. He sleeps downstairs on a dog bed, but is happy in a crate. Rufus has some fearful reactivity behaviours towards other dogs. He has responded well to behaviour training (he no longer chases cyclists). He will need owners dedicated to his ongoing training and ideally, used to the breed/reactive dogs. He is very trainable. In return, Rufus is extremely loving and devoted towards his close knit circle of humans.
