Exceptional Working-Line German Shepherd Bitch – 24 Weeks 24-week-old female German Shepherd. Exceptional working-line bloodlines. This is an extremely difficult advert to write. She was carefully selected by us from the litter specifically to remain as our own dog and become a permanent member of our family. She was never intended to be sold. She was chosen because of her temperament, character, natural drive, intelligence and outstanding potential, and we genuinely believed she was going to be an exceptional addition to our family. She comes from phenomenal working-line German Shepherd bloodlines, with both her mother and father being working GSDs, and both parents can be viewed. She has been raised within a family home and has had basic socialisation and household manners worked on, giving her a good foundation for her next stage of development. Her current owner is a dog trainer, so she has been handled with an understanding of canine development, and formal, more structured training has not been rushed at a young age. What is already very apparent is how quickly she learns. She is an exceptionally smart puppy and shows many of the same qualities as her mother. Intelligent, switched-on, biddable and highly receptive to learning. She is: - Exceptionally loving and affectionate - Highly biddable and eager to please - Incredibly loyal to her family - Extremely intelligent and quick to learn - Smart and switched-on, much like her mother - Confident and full of character - Has an incredible natural drive for work - Motivated and eager to engage - Raised within a family environment - Genuinely outstanding working-line breeding She has an enormous amount of potential. At 24 weeks, she is now reaching an exciting age where the foundations already established can be developed into more structured training and purposeful work. With the right person, she could excel in working disciplines, obedience, dog sport or simply as an exceptionally active and well-trained family companion. Unfortunately, due to us undertaking a large scale renovation project, we have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to find her a new home. We simply do not have the time required to give her the attention and structured development she deserves. This is absolutely not a sale due to a problem with her. Quite the opposite. She is a fantastic young dog and was hand-picked by us from her litter because we believed she was the one we wanted to keep. We are therefore going selective about her next home. Both parents can be viewed, and we are happy to discuss her breeding, temperament, development and potential with genuinely interested homes. This is not a first-come, first-served sale. The right home is far more important to us than a quick sale.
