Description
Hello,
As much this breaks my heart, Kiko hasn't been feeling very happy and he has been plucking his feathers. No matter how much I tired to help him with attention and love he doesn't feel happy anymore. I don't know what else I could do than maybe my attention is not enough for his needs anymore. I feel desperate as I don't want him to hurt himself anymore. He has been doing this very bad habit since September.
He lives in company of another girl lovebirdie but they're not romantically involved and just live as "room mate" situation.
I can't point how it caused him to act this way and it aches my heart deeply to see him bald on his chest and tail. The pictures attached show how beautiful he is with his full plumage.
So I have decided that most likely another Owner would be able to meet his needs.
My job has also been more demanding and I don't want this to affect him. He is a very lovely boy, tame, likes to copy the word "peekaboo". He loves eating millet with a great passion and especially a good bath!
kiko is very tame and loves spending time chewing toothpicks, ice lolly sticks, cotton buds and toilet paper rolls. You can grab him, stroke him from his head to his stomach.
He lives on a very healthy harrisons pellet diet (the best of the best for him).
sadly he despises eating fruit and veg but! he loves liking the juices of a watermelon.
He has grown with me as he was a baby and likes to have his cage covered to sleep properly at night.
I only priced him at £50 as I just want to find someone appropriate for him as he may cost hundreds. My aim is to find someone experienced, able to help him and give lots of love and attention to him <3
I've had lovebirds for 13 years and i'm very aware that they see you as their whole world and i hope to find the person who can be kiko's whole world.
Kiko is 100% a boy as he went through a DNA test.
Unfortunately I don't have a spare cage to hand out for the transport.
I have an Instagram account with lots more pictures/videos of him if you wish to view message me!
please understand he is not a toy but a companion.
and please don't hesitate to ask as many questions as possible.
