He has a lovely, caring and affectionate temperament. He loves attention, playtime and cuddles, but he is also very happy to chill out and relax.
My children are now older and spend most of their time in their own rooms, and unfortunately, due to my own health, I no longer have the energy or ability to give him the time and attention I feel he deserves. This is an extremely difficult decision, but I feel finding him the right home is the kindest thing for him.
He would ideally suit a home without another dog. When he sees other dogs while out on walks, he can bark quite a lot. However, I genuinely believe that with the right owner, patience and consistent training, this could improve. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time or health to work on this with him as much as I would like.
He is absolutely fine being left home alone and does not cause any problems or damage. I currently leave him for most of the day while I am at work, and he is perfectly settled and well behaved. However, I’m sure he would much rather be with someone who can spend more time with him and give him the attention and companionship he deserves.
He is available to go to the right home straight away. I am looking for someone who will genuinely love him, be patient with him and give him the time and care he deserves.
