Our 4 year old Horsefield tortoise is looking for a wonderful home. Unfortunately she isn’t able to live her best life here with us due to us having a dog, so we are looking to rehome her with someone who can offer her more than we can. We had her from a baby 4 years ago. We have never hibernated her. She loves to bask under her lamp and is partial to a few Brussel leaves! Her name is Dougie (our children named her before we knew her sex). She would love nothing more than to be out in the garden in the summer months but that is not possible with our dog. She will come with her enclosure, and a bag of fresh lambs lettuce which she loves. We would just like to know she is happier with someone who can offer her the time. Only serious enquiries please.
