Pros
Highly affectionate and loyal to their family, forming strong bonds
Excellent for first-time owners due to their eagerness to please and trainability
Strong herding instincts that make them highly alert and responsive
Adaptable to both apartment and country living when exercised appropriately
Cons
High grooming needs with daily brushing necessary to manage thick coat
Prone to separation anxiety if left alone for long periods
Can be timid or wary around strangers without early socialisation
Nipping and herding behaviours require management and training
