Khaos is looking for his forever home 🏡 Khaos is a 1 year old pocket bully x ( he does not meet the requirements for an xl bully) , he has been with me for around 3-4 months now after he was struggling to find a permanent home. In this time he’s been neutered, microchipped, flead and wormed now he’s just ready to find his forever home who can give him the time and love he deserves. Khaos is a very friendly boy, however is known to be too overly friendly. He loves people, cats, dogs, anything that interacts with him. He has basic training such as toilet training, crate training, sit, down, paw, however in his previous home he hasn’t had much one on one time like that so he’s pretty much a blank canvas and needs a lot of work to become the best companion he can be. Due to Khaos’s previous upbringing, he will require a home where you will have the time, patience and consistency to carry on his training so he becomes the perfect companion. He will require an experienced handler who knows about bully breeds due to him having minimal manners but with consistent training he would be a brilliant dog for someone. He deserves a second chance, and that right person will be out there for him, it’s just finding them. Due to Khaos lacking a lot of training, this means he is a very boisterous and powerful dog, he’s quite the bulldozer so until he has had training through his new home, he wouldn’t be suitable around children/ small animals. Whilst with myself he has been with alot of people/ other animals and he does not have a bad bone in his body, however due to his behaviour, this is where the problem lies. He’s too boisterous and gets way too overstimulated, causing him to be quite pushy and possible injure other dogs/ people purely due to his size. This is why it is so important for me for find the correct home for Khaos to avoid any unwanted accidents or people taking on too much than they can handle. Ideal home for Khaos would be; - no young children, teenagers possibly however they will have to know how to cooperate with Khaos’ training to avoid any accidents through him being too boisterous. - Dogs; Khaos is friendly however he is too overly excitable and has knocked down even large breed dogs due to his behaviour. I would probably place him as the only dog in the house or another very tolerable bully breed. He would be a lot better with 1 to 1 time - Other animals; he does live with a cat currently and he is absolutely fine even with birds/ small animals, however due to his size, proper management would be needed as it’s easy for accidents to happen. He is left unattended at times with my cat and he is perfectly okay and never had any problems, he’s more scared of them than they are of him. - Garden access; due to his current behaviour, a garden would be ideal to help with khaos’ exposure and training. I cannot stress enough that khaos will need a home where you have the time and patience to train him, he will need alot of work and management but he is truly worth the time and will make a brilliant dog. He will not just be just going to anyone, there will be steps in place to ensure he is going to the right home. He is a lovely natured dog but he needs to find the correct home that can handle his breed and his puppy behaviour. Please if you have any questions send them my way and I’m happy to answer.
