Description
It breaks my heart to do this, but I’m looking for a loving new home for my four-year-old Italian Greyhound, Alfie.
Key criteria for future owners:
- No kids
- Couple
- Retired/work from home
- Have a garden and access to parks
- Have lots of free time and don’t travel
- Would be obsessed with Alfie and make him their world
- Happy for Alfie to sleep in bed
I am rehoming him due to absolutely no fault of his own, he is the best behaved and most perfect dog which is why we feel that he deserves a home that will give him more love and attention than we are able to. I have had him for 4 years since he was a baby but my circumstances have drastically changed and I feel it is unfair to keep him in neglected conditions.
He is a 7kg dog with a very affectionate and friendly personality. He is quite clingy and needs lots of love and attention which is why I would want him to go to a couple that would spend most of their time at home with him. He is of course able to stay home alone when needed. He also will need to be in a home where he is allowed on furniture and can sleep in the bed with his new owners. Alfie is a very lazy dog and loves to sleep all day, but he also loves to run around at the park, so I would also need the new owners to live by a green area where he can run around. He has great recall so you can take him off lead. Alfie loves other people and dogs, has never shown any sort of aggression and he is also trained to go on a pee pad at home if need be. He is great on a leash and he is well socialised to loud noises, big dogs, loud places etc

I will go into more detail about him as a dog and his needs when we connect, but he really is such a well behaved and amazing dog. I want to make sure Alfie goes to a safe, caring, permanent home where he will be loved and well looked after. I’m happy to answer questions and would like to meet potential adopters first.
