A little about Horsefields
Horsefields (also called Russian tortoises) are one of the best tortoises to start with — small, hardy and wonderfully active. They stay compact at around 15–20cm as adults and love to dig and explore. They prefer a warm, drier setup and, unlike Mediterranean tortoises, they don’t hibernate. With the right care they can live 50 years or more — a genuine lifelong companion.

Good to know
• Incubated at mixed temperatures, so their sex can’t be determined until around 4 years old.
• A small non-refundable deposit will reserve your chosen tortoise for later collection.
• If you already have an enclosure, I may ask for a short video plus details of your heating and lighting, just to be sure everything’s right before your tortoise heads home.
