DEPIBRAC RIVES FOR GLENFIDRA “Jock” Available at public stud to carefully selected, health-tested females only. Jock is, first and foremost, an exceptionally kind and easy dog. He has the most gentle, uncomplicated nature and is an absolute pleasure to live with, train and take anywhere. Naturally calm, friendly and laid-back, Jock is wonderful with children, excellent with other dogs and completely at ease in different environments. He takes everything in his stride and has the sort of steady, trustworthy temperament that makes him a joy to have around. That same easy nature carries through into his work. Jock is eager to please, quick to understand what is being asked of him and exceptionally straightforward to train. He works in a calm, neat and thoughtful manner, without unnecessary fuss or pressure. Jock has been trained and successfully handled by my teenage daughter. During his puppy working-test season, he achieved a run-off and for 1st in only his fourth puppy test, scoring a near-perfect 79/80. He is now working at Novice level, where his natural trainability, steadiness and willingness to please continue to shine. Jock’s pedigree contains 28 Field Trial Champions, combining some of the most respected working Labrador lines: * Sired by FTCh Shallowbeck Bakers Boy, whose sire is FTCh Waterford Ganton * His dam is sired by FTCh Beileys Aguzannis of Fendawood (Imp) * His maternal granddam is sired by FTCh Drakeshead Vodka Jock appears to have inherited the exceptional trainability of these top-class dogs, coupled with his remarkably soft, kind and biddable temperament. He is now well proven on both our own females and those belonging to stud clients, consistently producing strong, healthy litters. This includes litters of 10 and 11 puppies from our own females. He has produced yellow/fox red and black puppies and does not carry chocolate. We are delighted with what Jock has produced so far and are particularly excited by the prospect of him continuing to pass on his kindness, trainability and wonderfully easy-going nature.
