Pros
Exceptionally affectionate and loyal, forming strong family bonds
Highly adaptable to apartment or house living with moderate exercise needs
Low-shedding coat suitable for allergy sufferers
Eager to please and highly trainable, ideal for first-time owners
Cons
Prone to separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods
Requires daily grooming and regular professional clipping
Can develop small dog syndrome if overly pampered
May be vocal, barking frequently if not properly trained
