My name is Sophie and I came to the UK in September 2021 when I was adopted. A short time later the family adopted my puppy, but she died. Since then I have lived with 3 different dogs. Sadly my family decided to surrender me back to the rescue because I wasn't getting on with one of the other dogs, and so they started shutting me in a crate, which I hated. In my foster home I have made friends with the 2 resident dogs and I love playing chase. I also love a good snuggle with the fosters.

💙 Behaviour: Sophie is a lovely little dog who likes to be with people. In her previous home she lived with 2 children, and an adult male and female, but since being in foster she has shown signs of anxiety around males, both inside the home and out on walks. She adores a cuddle, but is wary of anyone new coming into the home. However, this can be managed with treats and proper introductions. Sophie's adopters said she had a strong prey drive, but this has not been observed since she has been in foster. She does enjoy her walks, but can show signs of anxiety around some dogs when on lead.
💙 Ideal home: Sophie would love a quiet, female only home or, if there is a male in the home then someone with experience around anxious dogs. A home without too many visitors would be ideal. . She absolutely loves to play and interact with people she trusts, and would benefit from adopters who have time to walk her and introduce her to new experiences at her own pace. She will be a super dog for the right person / people.
