💙 American Akita for Rehoming – 3 Year Old Male 💙
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but I’m looking to find a loving new home for my beautiful 3-year-old male American Akita.
Due to a relationship breakdown and now having three very young children (ages 2, 1 and 5 months), I no longer have the time he truly deserves. This decision has been made with a very heavy heart and purely with his best interests at heart.
He is an amazing dog with a lovely temperament — incredibly loyal, affectionate and gentle with people. He absolutely loves long walks, cuddles on the sofa, and playing with his toys. He is up to date with all vaccinations, and is flea’d and wormed regularly as required.
He would be best suited to a home where he is the only pet, as he is not good with other animals. Ideally, he needs an experienced owner who understands the breed and can give him the time, attention and exercise he thrives on.
This is truly heartbreaking for me, but he deserves a life where he can be someone’s priority again. A loving, stable home is essential and this is absolutely not a decision taken lightly.
