Description
Gizmo is a 3-year-old, neutered, and microchipped male moggy. He is a sensitive, quiet boy who has lived a very sheltered, peaceful life. Due to past trauma during his neutering, he is very fearful of vet visits, so he needs an owner who understands Trauma-Informed Care.
Gizmo has developed a sensitivity to hard food. He is a "licker" of meat and struggles to chew biscuits. While I do not have a formal vet record for this, his behavior clearly shows he needs an owner prepared to transition him to a soft-food diet and eventually invest in a dental check-up/work once he has settled and feels safe.
Quiet & Adult-Only: No children or dogs. He needs a "Sovereign Sanctuary" to feel safe.
The Only Cat: He has been living with a dominant brother (Jasper) and would likely flourish as the only cat where he doesn't have to compete, although another cat would benefit him as long as he is accepted, no kittens.
Safe Outdoor Access: He is used to a microchip catflap. He needs a home away from busy roads where he can explore at his own pace, although the garden tends to be his safe space as he isn't an adventurer.
I am looking for a private sale to a committed, empathetic adult. Price: £300 to ensure he goes to a "Golden" home capable of funding his future dental needs.
