Description
This is Ruby. She has been with me since she left her litter 9 years ago. Smooth haired black and tan KC reg miniature dachshund. Never been bred, but not spayed, too old now for either. Microchipped. Titre tested years ago, so didnt keep up with vaccinations as wasnt deemed needed. Raw fed on paleo ridge, she probably wont transition to kibble. Shes never been to the vet, as never had a need! Shes the picture of health considering her age.
A typical dachsund. She is the sweetest thing, happiest being cuddled or wrapping herself up in blankets. Has never bitten or shown teeth, very patient with children, honestly shes just my little hot water bottle.
Loves shredding post, and has rubbish recall.
But as you can see from the photos, a truly gentle soul when she has to be.
As normal for the breed, she does suffer from seperation anxiety, and so best scenario would be a home with somebody home all the time, somebody retired would be perfect, or with true patience as she will try to dig under doors to find you, and leave "******************s". For me, she is perfectly behaved, but anywhere strange, this would be the expected until she really settles, and Im not talking just a few weeks. She wont understand Im gone.
Sadly Im now on my own, and work 50+ hours a week just to survive, and dont see any alternative that enables me to work without constant guilt that shes on her own, which traps me into staying home all the time Im not at work, not a healthy situation to be in. Its an additional heartbreak I didnt want and so only the best home will be accepted. I will absolutely be verifying identity and address, and I absolutely will not budge on price.
