Meet Archie, a beautiful young Pointer cross who is now settling into his foster home in Hereford.

Since arriving in foster, we have been getting to know what a lovely boy Archie really is. ❤️
He is affectionate, intelligent, playful and enjoys being around people. He loves his toys and, being a young Pointer cross, will suit an active home where he can enjoy good walks, adventures and plenty of mental stimulation.
Archie is also a sensitive and slightly shy boy who is still building his confidence. Sudden movements, loud noises and unfamiliar situations can sometimes worry him. He doesn’t react badly — he tends to step back, watch and take a little time to decide that everything is safe.
For this reason, Archie needs a patient and understanding home where he won’t be expected to cope with everything immediately.
He is very good with other dogs, and we feel a friendly, confident resident dog could be particularly beneficial to him, providing companionship, reassurance and guidance. We would therefore be especially interested in homes with a suitable resident dog, although the right home without another dog may also be considered.
Because Archie is still gaining confidence and adjusting to home life, he is not currently suitable for a home where he would regularly be left alone for long periods. Any time alone would need to be introduced very gradually as he settles and becomes more secure.
Archie has already come such a long way — from an overcrowded to a foster home in the UK. Now he just needs that final piece of his story: a loving, permanent family of his own. 🏡❤️
Archie comes with an EU Pet Passport, is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, and has been legally imported into the UK. He will also have 5 weeks’ ****************** insurance and full lifetime rescue back-up from us.
