Meet Derek. Derek is a cheeky happy with a big personality. He will always let you know when he is happy and when he needs something from you. Derek is the ultimate lap dog and will want to be under the blanket or on napping on your lap. He loves other dogs but can be nervous and so he will bark to f el bigger than he is. He loves children and is happy with cats and other dogs. He is just a little older than 10 now but very young at heart. As he is a smaller dog, he doesn’t require much exercise and would be happy with a garden to run around in. He loves toys and balls although if you throw one, he won’t bring it back to you to throw again. Due to a marriage breakdown and through absolutely no fault of his own, I am now unable to keep him and would love to find him his forever home. Being away from home for many hours and not being there to give him the attention and the time he deserves, I have made the very hard decision that this is what is best for my fur baby. I would love him to go to a family that will love him, treat him and play with him every day. He is a very gentle and loving dog that just wants attention and love.
