🐾 Beautiful Black & Tan German Shepherd – Willow | Nearly 4 Years Old 🐾 It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking for the perfect home for my beautiful German Shepherd, Willow, who is nearly 4 years old. Willow is a gorgeous black and tan girl with a big personality. She is playful, loving, affectionate, friendly, protective and incredibly energetic. As a working breed, she has a strong drive and needs an experienced owner who understands German Shepherds and can give her the physical exercise, mental stimulation and purpose she deserves. ❤️ About Willow: *never been bred. * Nearly 4 years old * Black & tan female * Fully house trained * Microchipped * Knows all basic commands * Excellent off-lead recall * Very loving and affectionate with people * Fantastic with children — she has been raised alongside my 3-year-old since birth and is gentle with him, as well as being good with other children * Currently lives with two cats, who she absolutely adores * Playful, energetic and loves having something to do * Protective by nature * Typical strong-willed/dominant German Shepherd personality Willow is a lovely family dog, but I want to be completely honest about where she needs some work. She needs further lead training and can be reactive towards other dogs while on the lead. She has, however, been known to get along well with other dogs off lead. She can have a dominant nature, so I feel an experienced German Shepherd owner would be best suited to her. Her off-lead recall is excellent, and she knows her basic commands. 🏡 The home I am looking for: Willow needs a GSD-savvy, experienced owner who understands working breeds and is genuinely willing to fulfil her drive and stimulation needs. Ideally, I would love to find her a home with lots of space, potentially a smallholding, farm or working environment where she can have a purpose and plenty to keep her occupied. She needs someone who will continue her training and give her the active lifestyle she deserves. I am not looking to rehome her simply because she is difficult. I am rehoming her because my circumstances have changed, and I can no longer give her the level of stimulation, exercise and fulfilment that she needs. She deserves more than I am currently able to provide, and making sure she has that is more important to me than anything else. 💔 Willow is a much-loved family pet, and this is an incredibly difficult decision. Because of that, I will be extremely careful about where she goes. 📍 Alton, Hampshire I am happy to consider homes further away for the right person. Home checks and vetting will be required. I will only let Willow go if I am completely confident that she is going to a 5-star home that can offer her the life she deserves. 💷 £300 The fee is important to me because I want to make sure she goes to someone who is genuinely serious about taking on a German Shepherd and not to someone who may simply see her as a cheap dog. If you feel you could offer Willow the right home, please message me with some information about yourself, your experience with German Shepherds/working breeds, your home, lifestyle and what you could offer her.
