Description
Jasmine is a beautiful 5-year-old medium sized girl (around 16kg) with a bright mind and a huge heart. She’s an incredibly intelligent and loyal dog who forms a very special bond with her person and loves being involved in everyday life.
Sadly, Jasmine is looking for a new home after losing her beloved owner. She has so much love to give and is hoping to find someone who can offer her the stability, companionship and understanding she deserves.
Jasmine is a very clever girl who has previously trained in agility and knows lots of commands as well as a few fun tricks. She really enjoys using her brain and learning new things, and she thrives when she has a routine and clear guidance from her humans.
At home Jasmine is well behaved and settles nicely. She can be left for short periods and doesn’t chew or damage anything, but she absolutely loves having her people around and will greet you enthusiastically when you return – usually followed by some well-earned cuddle time!
She enjoys running freely in safe open spaces and has excellent recall. Watching her zoom around a field enjoying herself is one of her favourite things.
Jasmine can be a little unsure around new people at first, but she warms up quickly and becomes very affectionate once she knows you. She has met children and is generally calm around them, especially if they’re happy to throw her ball.
Because she can feel worried around some other dogs, Jasmine would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where she doesn’t have to share her space. She will need an experienced owner who understands sensitive, intelligent dogs and can continue helping her feel confident when out and about.
Her ideal home would be:
• a quiet household
• adult only (or calm older teenagers)
• no cats or other dogs
• a secure garden for playtime and zoomies
• owners who are home most of the day (home workers or retirees would be perfect)
In the right home, Jasmine will be an incredibly devoted companion who will reward her people with loyalty, affection and endless personality.
Jasmine is currently in kennels and is available to foster or adopt.
