Description
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.
With a completely broken heart, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome my dog. This is not something I ever wanted to do, but I love her enough to put her happiness and wellbeing before my own feelings.
She is the most loving, caring, and gentle little soul. She’s only 1 year old and will be turning 2 in July. She’s full of life, energy, and affection, and she truly is the best friend I could ever ask for. She gives kisses, loves to play, and has so much love to give.
She is very well trained she can sit, give paw, lie down, wait for her food, play dead, play fetch, walk well on the lead, and she is fully toilet trained. She’s amazing with children and has never bitten another animal. The only thing she struggles with is fear around other dogs — she may bark at first, but once she’s able to sniff them, she’s absolutely fine and very friendly.
The reason I’m making this decision is because she deserves more than I can give her right now. She has so much energy for such a little dog, and she truly deserves a home with a garden where she can run, play, and burn off that energy whenever she wants. She deserves space, freedom, and a life where she can be her happiest self.
Letting her go is breaking my heart, but keeping her when I know she could have a better life would be selfish. I love her too much to do that.
I will be doing proper checks and taking my time to make sure she goes to the perfect home — one where she will be loved, cared for, and cherished the way she deserves.
