🐾 Meet Our Beautiful 5-Year-Old Cocker Spaniel – Looking for Her Next Big Adventure! ❤️ We’re looking for a very special home for our gorgeous 5-year-old female Cocker Spaniel. This is an incredibly difficult decision, as she has been my best friend for the last five years, but I want to find her a home where she can enjoy an adventurous, outdoorsy life and really thrive. A little about her personality… If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, a constantly wagging tail and a little bit of character, she might just be your girl! She is an absolute sweetheart with the kindest soul. She’s affectionate, loving and very much a Velcro dog – wherever you go, she’ll be right behind you! She loves nothing more than cuddles, being close to her humans and making you feel like the most important person in the world. She has some adorable little habits, too. She’ll greet you with a sock or her favourite toy, proudly presenting her offering while her tail goes into overdrive! She absolutely loves playing fetch, although there’s one small catch… she loves catching the ball but isn’t particularly interested in bringing it back! 😂 Her idea of a perfect life? The great outdoors! 🌳 She absolutely loves: * Long walks through forests and woodland. * Exploring parks and open spaces. * Swimming and splashing about in the water. * Chasing balls and enjoying a good run off lead. * Being outside, exploring and going on adventures. * Coming home for a big cuddle afterwards. She is fantastic off lead and loves having the freedom to explore. She isn’t quite as confident on the lead, so this is something her new owner would need to be happy to work on. Her little quirks (because nobody’s perfect!) She has a few funny and endearing little things about her that make her who she is. * She’s not a fan of the dark! Night-time walks aren’t her thing, and she’ll happily refuse to go out in the dark. * She likes to feel safe and cosy when sleeping, so her favourite sleeping spots are a covered dog cave or tucked underneath the bed. * She’s a proper shadow dog and will follow you from room to room. Privacy isn’t really part of the package! * Busy roads make her nervous, so she’d be much happier somewhere quieter, with easy access to countryside, woodland or open spaces. The home we’re looking for ❤️ We want to find her a home that is just as special as she is. Ideally, this would be: * Someone who is home for most of the day, as she loves company and doesn’t enjoy being away from her people for long periods. * An active person or family who enjoys long walks, exploring and spending time outdoors. * A home with easy access to countryside, woodland, parks or open spaces. * Somewhere quiet, away from busy roads. * Someone who enjoys having a very affectionate, loyal little shadow by their side. * Someone who will give her patience, reassurance, love and the time she deserves. She’s generally okay around other dogs but is quite happy being the only dog and may prefer having her humans to herself. She’s also fine with children, although she hasn’t had much experience around them and can sometimes be a little spooked, so any home with children would need to understand this and give her time and space to settle. One last thing… This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly. She’s been my best friend for five years, and finding her the right home is far more important to me than finding her a home quickly. I’m not looking for just anyone. I’m looking for someone who will adore her, understand her little quirks, take her on adventures, let her swim, explore and enjoy the outdoors, and then give her all the cuddles she could ever want. In return, you’ll get the most loyal companion, the happiest greetings, a little sock or toy waiting for you when you walk through the door, and a best friend who will follow you absolutely everywhere. She’s not just looking for a new home.
