Description
Hello,
Chas is looking for his forever home, we thought that it would be us, but unfortunately he is too much high energy for our slow and laid back life style. Also our other dogs are are petrified of him, and we have an elderly dog who has artritis and just needs to be able to relax and chill, instead of hiding, and being anxious, he also tries to be dominant over our female Beagle, and can be far too boisterous for her.
Chas is a lovely dog, and hugs and cuddles us all the time. He is very loyal as these breeds are, and will herd and protect you.
He has not had a good start in life and has suffered trauma and abuse from previous owners. But that has not made him aggressive or anxious at all.
He will need to go to a home where he is the only dog or at least a home with another German Shephard, and someone who has experience with the breed.
Chas need lots of attention and stimulation, and someone who has the time to give him the attention that he needs, because he is highly intelligent, and he gets bored quite easily, he learns very quickly.
He absolutely loves water, treats and fetching his sticks and balls. His main food is butchers, and we put biscuits down for him every day, he also has evening meals with us, so we mix up his food for him.
We are very sad to see him go, and we do love him dearly, but our life style doesn't match his working dog demands and attention.
Please note that we will want to slowly introduce Chas to his new potential owners, so we know that he will be going to the right home.
We have had him vaccinated, fleed and wormed, since we have had him, he is microchips, and he is spoilt and used to be on furniture.
Any questions please feel free to message.
