š¾ Loving 2-Year-Old Female Cat āDustyā Looking for the Right Home š¾
Itās with a heavy heart that Iām looking to rehome our beautiful girl, Dusty. Sheās a 2-year-old mixed breed female with the sweetest, most affectionate nature you could ask for. Dusty absolutely loves cuddles, attention, and being close to her humans ā sheās truly a little companion.
Weāve had Dusty for just over a month, and in that time weāve completely fallen in love with her. However, sheās been showing clear signs that she wants more freedom than we can safely offer. She spends a lot of time crying at windows and doors and has been trying to make her great escape whenever she gets the chance. Itās honestly heartbreaking to see, as it feels like we canāt give her the life sheās asking for.
Dusty is litter trainedā¦ with a bit of personality! She reliably uses her litter tray, though sheās also decided that the bath is an acceptable ābackup optionā for the occasional wee ā but nowhere else, we promise!
She is not currently neutered. We live near a very busy road, and Iām deeply worried about the risks of letting her outside here. I donāt want to have her spayed only for her to get out and potentially get hurt in such a dangerous area.
Because of this, Iām looking for a very specific home for Dusty:
A home with no other pets
Someone who can have her spayed when the time is right
A safe environment where she can eventually enjoy outdoor access if appropriate
This decision hasnāt been made lightly ā we adore her, and letting her go is incredibly difficult. But seeing her so desperate to explore and not being able to safely give her that freedom is breaking my heart.
